The Cradle Investment Programme (CIP), under the auspices of The Ministry of Finance, is also looking to invite genuine new investors with under utilised funds to spare, to be part of the Ideas Bank alongside other Local and International Venture Capital firms, Commercialisation Partners, Angels, Government Institutions, Investment Banks and Financial Institutions.
The Ideas Bank is a national resource of intellectual property created from all the successful CIP projects. The mandate of the Ideas Bank is to create a marketplace for the buying, selling and licensing of intellectual property assets and ideas and thereby help CIP Entrepreneurs commercialise their ideas.
These ideas are those who have successfully completed the CIP deliverables (i.e A Business Plan and a Prototype / Proof of Concept of the idea) and are ready for the next stage seed funding to go further. Managed by CIP, the Ideas Bank provides an executive summary of the ideas to Registered Users who have been invited by CIP and MAVCAP Bhd to be participants in the Idea Bank. Investors will be given selective access to Executive Summaries of these ideas for them to browse, according to their industry or investment subject of interest.
Once a genuine interest is established, they will be able to investigate and analyse the full idea further towards investment. These innovative ideas are hot and destined to be the next big thing and are worthwhile investments while the valuation price is still affordably reasonable.
